Eskapo Night

I was supposed to have a date tonight after 6PM. However, I forgot that I was supposed to attend a company event that was set-up almost two weeks ago. Totally forgot!

Good thing Greg emailed me this morning to remind me about it.

So I brought Yuyeth, my ever-pretty friend, who I think can easily mingle around with anyone.

I wanted to bring a friend primarily because:

1. I don't want to look lonely by myself

2. I need a back-up support in my plan to escape and leave the venue early

I met a few key people in this Lightfoot Travel event. I met the Executive Officer of Luxury Lodges Australia. I also met a Director of a PR agency in London.

But even before the party started, I already gave Yuyeth the hint to leave. And so I pretended that I was looking for the gents, then I quickly went downstairs.

Shoot!  I forgot my namecard case in one of the cocktail tables where we were hanging out. Upon seeing Yuyeth coming down from the stairs, I immediately told her about it. She then, without any hesitations, went back to get it. I thought it'll be difficult for her to do so, but she managed to do itwithout any issues at all.

The whole night gave us both time to catch up and just update the lives of each other. Recently, we see each other while in big groups, so there were never a time for us to have personal conversations.

I'm glad she came along with me.
